Jean-Benoit Pomerleau secures new job
The following quote is from an email that was sent to xpratts...
"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Benoit Pomerleau as Deputy General Manager, Service Centres, Asia Pacific, effective at the beginning of 2008.
In his new role, Jean-Benoit will be responsible for the operations of our Service Centre Overhaul & Repair business in the Asia Pacific region. His mandate includes strengthening responsiveness to all customers and ensuring competitiveness with regards to product quality, costs and on-time delivery. His customer focus and business acumen, as well as his extensive knowledge of the aftermarket business and the overall operations of our Service Centres, have prepared Jean-Benoit for his new responsibilities.
Jean-Benoit joined P&WC in 1979, working in Development Engineering and the Engine Centre. He led the SAP / Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul implementation and oversaw the successful introduction of the PW150, PW200 and PW300 product lines at our facility in St-Hubert, Quebec. He assumed positions of increasing responsibility as Manager - Corporate Sales Support at Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre Europe GmbH, a Joint Venture of P&WC and MTU/Germany. Most recently he held the position of General Manager, Service Centres, United Kingdom.
In his new capacity, Jean-Benoit will report to Michel Jaffré, General Manager, Service Centres, Asia Pacific.
